Geoffrey Hinton: A Pioneer in Deep Learning
Geoffrey E. Hinton, a professor at the University of Toronto, built on Hopfield’s work by developing the Boltzmann machine, which identifies patterns in complex data. Using concepts from statistical physics, Hinton’s machine can recognize and generate images based on what it has learned.
