National Anubhav Awards Scheme 2025: Honoring the Experiences of Government Employees

In March 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Anubhav’ platform through the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare. This unique online platform was designed to give retiring and retired government employees a space to share their professional experiences, knowledge, and memories accumulated during their years of service.

Purpose of the Anubhav Platform

The primary goal of the Anubhav platform is to preserve and share the valuable work experiences of government employees. These submissions help create a large, diverse collection of stories and best practices that future employees can learn from. It fosters a culture of sharing and continuous improvement, where the lessons from one generation can inspire the next.

Launch of the Annual Awards Scheme

To encourage participation in this initiative, an Annual Awards Scheme was introduced in 2015. This program encourages eligible employees to submit their stories, and those with the most outstanding contributions are honored with awards. Since its launch, 10,886 submissions have been made, resulting in 59 Anubhav Awards and 19 Jury Certificates being awarded.

National Anubhav Awards Scheme 2025: What’s New?

The 2025 National Anubhav Awards Scheme comes with exciting updates. Now, employees from Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) and Public Sector Banks can also share their experiences on the platform. This expansion opens the door for more professionals to contribute their stories and insights.

How to Submit Your Story

Central Government employees and pensioners are invited to submit their stories until 31 March 2025. All submissions will be carefully reviewed, and a select few will be recognized with five Anubhav Awards and ten Jury Certificates. This is a golden opportunity for government workers to reflect on their service and share their valuable experiences with the nation.

Extended Submission Timeline for Pensioners

A significant change in the 2025 scheme is the extension of the submission timeline for pensioners. Previously, retired employees could only submit their write-ups within one year of retirement. However, they now have up to three years to contribute their stories, giving them more time to thoughtfully reflect on their careers.

New and Fair Assessment System

A new and improved assessment system has been introduced to ensure fair evaluation of all submissions. This system takes into account the pay levels of participants, ensuring that submissions from all employees are judged on equal terms.

The National Anubhav Awards Scheme offers a meaningful platform for government employees to share their wisdom, lessons, and unique experiences from their years of service. Their stories not only highlight their contributions but also provide a roadmap for future employees to follow and learn from.
